THE iconic Cheltenham Festival is ending on a high today as revellers arrived in their most stylish ensembles for a thrilling day of racing.
The guests included a star-studded line-up, with newly-wed Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo leading the way with their glamorous outfits.

Around 250,000 Cheltenham fans flock each year to the famous Gloucestershire racecourse for the adrenaline-filled, four-day racing event.
In true Cheltenham style, tweed and eye-popping fascinators are all the rage this year for many attendees.
As well as sipping champagne and watching the horses, there has also been ample opportunity to spot some celebrities too.
While Toff opted for a furry brown coat and an eye-catching Emma Brewit hat to keep warm, baking legend Mary Berry looked stylish in a green and navy checked Holland Cooper coat.
Henry Cavill with Natalie Viscuso turned heads as they enjoyed a date day at Cheltenham.
Meanwhile, Nick Knowles and lingerie designer fiance Katie Dadzie looked stylish together as they arrived for racing – also in Holland Cooper.
Royalty is also in the house, with Zara Tindall – wearing Fairfax & Favor – and husband Mike back once more this week and looking effortlessly elegant in matching blue.
This follows Zara being announced as an ambassador for the luxury fashion brand earlier this month.
Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Cheltenham racecourse has hosted racing since 1815 and is one of the highlights in the racing calendar.
This year the Cheltenham Festival started on Tuesday March 11 and concludes today.
The racing extravaganza kicked off with Champion Day, followed by Style Wednesday, which was previously known as Ladies Day.
The rebranded fashion day is now open to both men and women, and the Cheltenham awards panel now features a ‘slow fashion’ awards ceremony, which includes vintage outfits, or those put together from charity shops or online resellers.
Following Style Wednesday, was St Patrick’s Day, with the Boodles Cheltenham Gold Cup taking place today.
Cheltenham dress code
For more than 200 years, punters have been instructed to wear traditional formal dress, with elaborate get-ups a common sight at racetracks like Cheltenham.
However, in 2023, The Jockey Club, which runs 15 racecourses including Cheltenham, relaxed the rules and changed the policy to make racing more “accessible and inclusive”.
Cheltenham 2025 – all you need
The dress code for Cheltenham Festival is now whatever makes people feel “comfortable and confident”, the Jockey Club has said.
The previous dress code advised men to wear suits and women to wear cocktail dresses.
Now, spectators will be allowed to wear whatever they like at the event, including jeans, trainers and even tracksuits.

However, offensive fancy dress, offensive clothing of any kind and replica sports shirts are still banned.
While spectators won’t be discouraged from dressing smartly if they want to, they will no longer be restricted from certain enclosures based on what they’re wearing.
The Jockey Club has said the old dress code had been “rather outdated in the 21st Century”, and wants spectators to be comfortable in the changeable British weather.
Why has Ladies Day been scrapped at Cheltenham Festival?
CHELTENHAM’S Ladies Day event on day two of racing is now known as Style Wednesday – and it’s open to both men and women.
A Cheltenham Racecourse spokesperson said in 2024: “This year we re-launched day two of The Festival as Style Wednesday to celebrate ‘fast horses, slow fashion’, encouraging racegoers to make more sustainable fashion choices, showcasing their unique and personal style, and to share the stories behind their amazing outfits with friends, family and on social media.
“This includes re-wearing outfits they already have in their wardrobes, purchasing timeless garments to wear again and again and also buying from retailers specialising in pre-loved clothing.”
